Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a school located in the United Kingdom, which teaches young students magic. Upon arrival at the institution, students are Sorted by means of an enchanted hat into one of four Houses: Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, or Ravenclaw.

Hogwarts School is considered by Rubeus Hagrid and J.K Rowling to be "the fines' school of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the world."

Categorisation of StudentsEdit

Students are firstly divided by year: they start (at age eleven or twelve) in their first year, and continue on until their seventh year, in which they will be at an average of seventeen or eighteen years old. The students in each year are then divided into one of the four Houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.
